Population is from UN data. (see website: https://data.un.org/Data.aspx?q=population&d=PopDiv&f=variableID%3a12) We just chose “medium”. UN data has several variants and our users (or next time) can pick their own variant. Unit in the website is thousands, but in my regression and forecast, I used million.
